For three years, “Business Consulting” or “Solutions” has been my go-to answer when asked what I do. It was broad enough to cover the array of services I offered—strategic planning, project management, operations optimization. Not long ago, I realized I had been in a more specific role: Fractional Director of Operations. It came out of the blue to be honest. It was during an online mastermind webinar with some pretty business savvy humans. I had been asked to talk about the last three years of work.
